The Lincoln Block race starts at Springs Road. There’s ample parking near the course, but for everyone’s safety, please avoid parking too close to the finish line area. If you’re riding out from Christchurch, we recommend leaving from PMH or Zeroes at 7:30 AM to give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the 20 km warm-up ride to the starting point.
Prepare for a course that demands skill and power. You’ll face rolling terrain, tight corners perfect for launching attacks, and a finish straight that has seen many bold moves pay off—or blow up! The road surface is excellent, and the course is designed for both safety and competitive excitement.
The Lincoln Block offers a challenging yet rewarding course packed with corners for attacking and plenty of spots to make your move. With a brutal finish straight on a slight uphill grade, timing your sprint is critical – go too early, and you’ll pay for it. This course combines strategic opportunities with safe, enjoyable racing conditions. It’s one of the finest and fastest in Canterbury!
Just a 20 km warm-up ride from Christchurch, the Lincoln Block is perfect for integrating into your regular training schedule. Leave from PMH or Zeroes at 7:30 AM and arrive with plenty of time to get ready for an 8:30 AM race start. After the race, stick around for prize giving and a few cheeky refreshments as we wrap up the season in style!
